LogDog¶
LogDog relays your VRChat group's audit log straight into your Discord server — joins and leaves, bans and kicks, instance activity, role changes, posts, and more, delivered as clean, color-coded embeds in the channels you choose.
No scraping, no spreadsheets, no checking the VRChat site — your moderation team sees what happened in your group, as it happens, where they already are.
Add LogDog to your server Get started
How it works¶
- Invite the bot to your Discord server.
- Run
/setup— pick where logs should go (one click for the Express layout, or map your own channels). - Connect your VRChat group and let LogDog's account join it.
- Grant View Audit Log access to that account in your group's role settings.
That's it — events start flowing. Tune exactly what you see any time with /events.
What you get¶
- Fast audit-log delivery — events arrive within a few minutes of happening.
- Organized routing — split requests, instances, and everything else into separate channels (or one — your call).
- Per-event control — turn whole categories or individual event types
on and off with
/events. - Moderation-friendly — add a reason to ban/kick logs right from the embed.
- Role-based permissions — grant your mods specific capabilities
(reasons, bans, lookups, and more) with
/permissions, without making them server admins. - Ban from Discord — ban or unban VRChat users from your group right from
a log embed or with
/ban(one extra group permission required). - Look up users — pull a VRChat user's profile (age verification,
trust rank, bio, and more) into Discord with
/getvrcuser, and see it auto-attached to join requests. - Moderation history — see a user's whole record (bans, kicks, warns,
removals, request outcomes) in one place with
/getmodhistory. - Moderator activity — audit everything a staff member has done
(approvals, bans, role changes, and more) with
/getmodactivity— a summary plus a CSV export. - Server audit log — a running record of every config change and
moderation action taken through LogDog, viewable + exportable with
/auditlog. - Group stats — a health snapshot of your group (members, moderation, requests,
activity) over any window with
/groupstats— summary + CSV. - Member count channel — show your VRChat group's member count live in a
locked voice channel that updates itself. Set it up with
/config. - Open instances panel — a live, self-updating list of your group's open
instances — headcounts, regions, and one-click join links — in a channel of your choice. Set it
up with
/config. - Account linking — let members link their VRChat account to
Discord and earn roles automatically, including an optional role gated on VRChat's own
18+ age verification. Set it up with
/config. - Role sync — mirror a Discord role onto a VRChat group role for linked
members, kept in step automatically. Set it up with
/config. - Event pings — have specific events (like bans) @-mention your
mod roles — or the linked moderator who did it — with
/notify, so nothing important gets missed. - Self-healing — if LogDog loses access it pauses, alerts you, and resumes automatically when access returns.
